I hope this isn't an inappropriate place to post this, but I couldn't find a similar topic.
I just realized today that I missed a neuro interview I was supposed to go to earlier this week. It's NOT a program I was planning on ranking very high - but I still feel like a complete idiot. I've been pretty overwhelmed with a lot of interviews, and I guess it completely crossed my mind (I suppose I'm used to getting an email reminder/update from the program but I didn't get one this time). They did not pay for a hotel or anything, but I still feel pretty horrible.
I would like to know if anyone had any suggestions as to how I can apologize - I figured I would email the coordinator but I have no idea what to say (I don't even have the desire to try to reschedule). I'm also worried if they will talk to any other programs and put in a bad word about me?
Any help is appreciated.
