I need a PDA

I have a Dell Axim x51v and I absolutely love it. I also have Lexi-Comp which i couldn't live without!

Decide if you want a Pocket PC or a Palm...then choose from there.
I am also considering a PDA purchase soon. Can you explain the main benefits of Pocket PC vs Palm?
Pocket PC uses Windows. Palm uses the Palm OS. Some people like Windows because they're used to it on their PC. I use a Mac, so that was not a factor. I chose the Palm OS. I found it easier to use and more intuitive. My PDA has the built in keyboard so I can type and not have to press letters with the stylus. This is a feature that I really like.
Whichever PDA you get, make sure you get Lexi-Complete. I couldn't live without it.
what type of softwares do you guys have loaded into your PDA/Palms? are they free or do you have to subscribe? are there discounts because you are pharmacy students?
I plan on having a Linux OS PDA phone... do you know which softwares support that or where I can find that info?

Did you have to get a memory card to handle Lexi-Complete? I have a Dell Axim x30 and am considering upgrading to a Dell x51v because Lexi-Complete requires at least 40Mb of memory.

I have a Palm Tungsten C and it required no extra memory. That's because the Palm OS does not take up much room compared to Windows.

I downloaded micromedex on my palm and it did not take any extra memory and is great!

Phone, PDA, GPS, radio all in one. I looked at it in NY over the holidays. Pretty sweet. Around $800, but probably cheaper online.
