Alright, as you could tell from my WTF!!!!!! post, I am getting pretty sick of school and work and just about everything that surrounds me. I need a freakin' vacation before I move my family for school. Help me out!!! Never really been anywhere that would knock my socks off... Any suggestions??

But... if you're looking for something warmer, I would suggest South Padre Island.

quit talking about vacations ... im stressing enough thru class and med school hear-backs for interviews ... and have been gaining momentum on my senioritis ...

i just want to get in .. after that, idk if i ever access SDN again until i gain acceptance into a medical school

We're going to Houston to a football game the end of the month...Hopefully will be fun. We had hoped for San Antonio, but have never been to Houston, so thought we'd check it out.

Also looking forward to our trip to TN in a couple weeks!

I'm going to Vegas for a few days, with the Grand Canyon sandwiched in between.

If any has any good tips or suggestions on any of the two (food, sites to see, where to play, etc), I'd appreciate it.

omg vacation sounds soooooo good right about now. its so freaking cold in philly....and work n classes are killing me!! it'd be nice to be somewhere warm and faaaar faaar awayfrom all the med school application stress *sigh*

Exactly. How do you expect to go through medical school if you can't live without non-essentials such as vacations and sleep?

In all seriousness, take a vacation if you can afford it and enjoy it. I myself was thinking about Mexico, a warm Christmas doesn't sound so bad after all. 🙂

You're in for a treat then! LOL! ROFL! Houston sucks. I live about an hour and a half east of it and there is nothing to do there... The only thing remotely cool is the galleria. Pretty houses and suburbs too. NO site seeing at all, sorry.
