Hi everyone, trust everyone is having a great weekend. I am new to this forum, stumbled on it while searching for Universities I could apply for a PHD.
My primary concern at the moment is I would like to diversify from my background educational career because it is new and getting opportunities in the field is very difficult.
I have a first degree in Psychology B.Sc and proceeded to do a masters in Health Psychology M.Sc.
The challenge I have now is either I further my program in Health psychology for a PHD, I attempted enrolling into Massey University in NewZealand but was declined because they didn't have the capacity to take me at the moment. Other Universities I checked in New Zealand does not offer PHD in health Psychology
PLEASE NOTE: I chose New Zealand because the fees for International Students is same with the local students.
Currently I am either looking for Universities capable of funding PHD health psychology.
A University I can work as an Assistant Lecturer whilst pursuing my PHD program.
Or
A new program related to health psychology which (health psychology) can serve as a prerequisite to the PHD course. A course with wide opportunities to get a job.
I appreciate your honest and experienced advice in anticipation.
Thanks
