I got a 26 on the april MCAT and am taking it again this august. I have however already submitted my AMCAS application. Will medical schools see that plan on retaking the exam? My main question however has to do with the course section. I did not include a couple of classes that I plan on taking over the course of this application year (one of which is biochem), and I am a bit worried that some schools which require/recommend this class will simply disregard my application since it is not included. My plan is to notify the schools individually, but I am not sure if that will work and am stressing out about this. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

you can just add a class by logging in and then going to send academic change request. one of the options is adding a class. I did the same thing

Hey Brooke--If you indicated on your AMCAS that you are retaking the August MCAT, then school will see this. I did the same thing last year but changed my mind about retaking the exam so I had to contact each school individually...it's a pain, but at least they considered my application early.
As for your biochem class, change it on AMCAS as a previous poster suggested and also contact each school.

All my best.
