I am applying into Pharmacy school for the Fall 2007 semester and I need advice on what I should do with job choices...

I have been trying to increase my chances of getting into pharmacy school because I know my stats are probably lower than the average applicant pool. I have been working on increasing my gpa and I am studying to take the PCAT for the 2nd time in January. I have a 3+ years of working as a Pharmacy Technician in a combination of retail and hospital settings. I was promoted into a Lead Pharm. Tech position last August 2005 with really good pay and I really can't complain about my job. Cardinal Health recently recruited me for a totally different position with big pay difference and I need help deciding what I should do. I would really like to hear what everyone’s opinion is on this. I have written down the pros and cons of each of the positions and somehow Cardinal Health keeps winning but I am having the hardest time making a decision.

I feel like if I take this position it will affect my chances of getting into pharmacy school. I know pharmacy experience is not really a requirement, but I think it helps in some ways.

Thanks for listening!!!

You already have plenty of pharmacy experience. I don't think your job decision will have an impact on your application. Just make this decision based on what's best for you and what you want out of your job.
