how does the AACPMAS application process work? like all the steps? I need it dumbified down 🙂

It's not really hard. You gotta send all your transcripts to AACPMAS. Fill out the AACPMAS which includes your personal statement, personal info, MCAT score, and all your grades (credit hours and letter grades). Have the AAMC system release your MCAT to AACPMAS. Designate which schools get your app.

For the rest of your application you need to send your LORs directly to the schools.

also, you can go to your school and see if they have a pre-health advising office. they can do a composite evaluation for you and be like the central place that all of your transcripts and LORs get sent to. they kind of orchestrate everything for you and send off all the extra things once you have completed your application.

Yes check with your pre-health advising office. At my undergrad we have a letter of recommendation processing office. I had all my letters sent to the office and then had the office transcribe and send the letters to specific schools. I only needed to have the professors and podiatrists send 1 copy. I figure...the easier I made it for them, the better my letter would be 😀
