Some pharmacy schools do prefer that their students come from their undergrad program...but im not sure about famu. I would call and ask for statistics-how many students went there from their undergrad program. That is the only way for you to know if they prefer their own undergrads. Also, even if you do go to famu for undergrad, there is still a chance you wont get in so you will probably apply to other schools too. What would look better on a transcript. If you have outstanding PCAT scores, grades, and seem well rounded, then you will have a good chance to get in anywhere.

i am confused i don't know what to do people say its hard to get in as a trasfer student

Even as a pre-pharmacy student at FAMU, you will still need to apply for the pharmacy school. I imagine it's easier to get into as a pre-pharmacy student, but I don't think your seat is guaranteed. Schools that guarantee your seat from high school are 0+6 programs. When people say it's hard to transfer, they mean into the middle of a pharmacy program (like from one school's pharmacy program into the 2nd year or 3rd year of another). But the majority of those applying to pharmacy school apply into the first year of a traditional 4 or 3 year pharmacy program after they have taken their pre-reqs. Hope that helps.

According to what you wrote, I believe you got into the 0+6 program at FAMU. If you did get into this program, I suggest you to go to FAMU because you're like 99.99% guarantee a seat if you have a 3.0 after completing the prerequisite courses at FAMU. All of my friends who went to FAMU for pre-pharmacy has gotten accepted and people who apply there as a transfer (taking credits at another college or university, then apply) have a very low chance of getting accepted. I have some friends who have 3.8+ GPA from universities get rejection letters from FAMU.

Good luck!

Ack didn't realize FAMU was 0+6. Same info applies though. You're seat is essentially guaranteed there. If for whatever reason you still choose to go to FSU, it would definitely require more work to apply down the line.
