I need major help with the acronyms

Hi. I am just starting Pharm school this fall and I am currently working as an intern. I just started like 2 days ago and I have never really worked in a Pharm. before that. I never really knew what happened back there until now.

One thing I am having difficulty with is the random acronyms used like bid... twice a day...prn..use as needed. Is there a list i can find online. I tried to yahoo search it and that didn't work too well.


Thanks any help is appreciated especially since I feel kinda silly for not knowing that information.

Go buy a medical terminology textbook, I still use mine from time to time.
