Dear All,

I have just published the " General Surgery Pocket Cards set" and I would love to get your feedback, and suggestions.

The pocket card set is directed to medical student and junior surgical residents.

I don't know....do students really need pocket cards to remember the PQRST portion of the history? Also, who really makes any medical decisions anymore based on Ranson criteria or Child's score?

Overall, though, I think it's a great idea to market a pocket reference to medical students (who would be the only ones to benefit from something like this). However, if you really want to make some money, I might create an iphone app for it or something....I doubt too many students will carry around 5 big pocket cards....

Props for putting something like this together, as it's a great idea. I would recommend creating an electronic version.
 
Thank you for your feedback. Actually we are in the process of creating an App for the iPhone. I though it would be beneficial for students to have it handy. i am not describing how to take history from a patient. I am trying to be more focused on surgical problems, which means that i included how to take history from patient with hernia, breast problem, abdominal pain.. etc.

Although I can appreciate you wanting feedback on your work, this thread amounts to a free advertisement, which is restricted under the Terms of Service agreement you signed when you registered.
