Hi everybody,
I am trying to fill the fafsa as a first-year med student. I really do not know whether I should put my parents' info or not. I am listed as an independent in the application, but it also suggests if you are going to a health profession school that you should enter the parents' information as well. There are these all the questions about income and savings..etc. I am afraid that they would base their calculated EFC on my family's income or savings. And if they do not, then why do they suggest to enter these info anyways? please guys, I know that there was a discussion here on that issue before on SDN, but I can't find the posts for it. I would appreciate your help and inputs especially for those who were in the same position before!
thanks guys in advance
