Hey,

I called ICO to ask a few questions and the years out of college came up. She said that if anyone has been out of school for more than 2 years, they recommend to take post-bacc graduate classes 15+ credit hours per semester at a university. Especially if I want to improve the look of my uGPA, which I want to do. The problem is I don't have the financial means of taking 15+ credits at a university, if I take only 8 credits, would that look bad or a waste of time? That's all I can really afford right now.

It's probably something you should ask them. Personally, I think it's fine. Financial aid might help you, as well.

I was out of school longer than two years.. I didn't want to spend all the money on graduate school, so I re-took a lot of the prerequisites (o-chem, bio I, bio II, physics, etc.) over the course of 1 year, and that seemed to work for me.
