So, when describing the research I'd done ... for some reason, wasn't thinking ... put "retrospective case study of a prospective database" ... instead of cohort. Didn't notice it when I went thru my apps prior to submission and now that I have an interview tomorrow, and I'm looking at my ERAS/CV stuff - I noticed it ... did I eff up big time??

The answer to this question is "yes." The likelihood that your interviewers have spent any more time reading your app than you spent typing that post is small.

If somebody asks, say it was a typo and move on. As long as you can describe the research, you'll be fine.

Agreed. But be prepared to talk about anything that you have included in your CV, ERAS packet, personal statement, etc. You never know what an interviewer might find interesting enough to discuss.

I was already rotating there so I was blind-sided with an email that requested an interview the day after ... I don't know if it amounts to much or anything. I don't have any other interview offers at this time. I was told I'd be ranked but he couldn't tell me where I stood at this time. I'm not sure how the rest of the season goes - I hope this wasn't just a "courtesy interview" to get me out of the way.
