Yeah not sure yet, I called and they said that a final decision has been made and a letter was sent out BUT... since I havn't interviewed there/been invited for an interview I assume this means a rejection.

Oh Well Their Loss......

I think that is a safe bet. Don't feel bad, I got A LOT (like 10-15) of those. I love how they put something like "after giving your file much consideration" . . . riiiiiigggght I'm sure you considered my file for the full 5 MONTHS it took you took reject me. Oh well, que sera sera 😉

That sounds like rejection but.... Don't lose your hope yet! I know someone who interviewed at Jeff on the last day of April last year and was accepted.

Dude, you are in great company and it's a LARGE crowd let me tell you. My letter came this week -

just got my (pre-int) reject letter yesterday.

Saves us the trouble of writing withdraw letters

Haha...that's one way to look at it.😀

just got my pre-int rejection letter yesterday also.

Jefferson is so screwed up, it's ridiculous. First they don't even tell you how to access their secondary. You have to call them up to find out that the password is like the last 4 digits of your social. The people answering the phone are *****s...

But this tops it off: I still have not heard anything back from them post-secondary (I couldnt care less, I'm already sitting on an NYU acceptance) and then the other day in the mail I get a letter from them - get this - inviting me back to the 25th year reunion for alumns! I kid you not. It was addressed to my address, with my last name, but a different first name. Funny stuff.

No offense, but are these really such terrible things?

Anyway, congratulations on NYU. =-)

Jugador75: wow, your experience sounds a lot different from mine. what happend might have to do with when you got your AMCAS app in (just a guess). jefferson was my first secondary, first interview, and first (and only) acceptance. I haven't had a reason to call them yet, but they have been really great about staying in touch since my acceptance (which was over 4 months ago). the dean even sent me a christmas card! congrats on NYU, my roomate is willing to kill to go there.

-proud to be Jefferson class of 2008
