I go to a quarter system community college that has ties to a state university literally a couple miles away. I'be been taking the organic chem series at the university as well as economics and have been taking physics and math at the CC.

Last two quarters I've aced everything except for physics. I've gotten two A-s now this quarter it looks like I'm going to get a B.

My problem is that I've taken 20 credits a quarter of just heavy science and math and because of this now I honestly no longer read the chapters or do homework(its not graded). I am no longer holding myself accountable for not doing it. Will this last or do I just need a break? It's because of this that I have been slacking into poor grades and I'm fearful because I'm in a CC(transferring out next year) that Med school will reject me because of these poor grades at a CC.

Should I be worried about my slacking? Is it a real problem or just a sign of needing a break.

It's normal to feel a little burnt out at times, especially with a heavy science load. In any case, you'll be fine; stop worrying. As long as you have an upward trend in GPA (or a stable trend if your GPA is already high), and that lasts throughout your university years, nobody's going to care.

👍
and be sure to live a little.

You're burned out. Just push through the last quarter and RELAX and recharge your batteries this summer. It's perfectly fine to get a B or have a slight dip in GPA for a semester/quarter, you're not going to be rejected because of that.
