well, I thought language was my first language, but after repeatedly bombing the verbal section I'm starting to doubt that. OK, ok, I know that the verbal section doesn't have anything to do with your first language, but what I don't know is why I can't improve on that section. I keep doing poorly on that section on every practice test that I take. It's getting close to the test and I'm NERVOUS!! Any advice from anyone on how to improve, or what I could possibly be doing wrong????

Also, I have taken the MCAT before (2 years ago). I plan to submit my AMCAS application before I receive the grade from my new test. What I am worried about is the schools seeing my old test grade and then completely disregarding my application. I know they will see the score eventually, but if submit with pending MCAT scores, how do the schools view this??? Do they set your application aside and go back when the MCAT is in? I'm not sure how they would know when to go back to look at your application. How does this work??

I see why. 😉 j/k.

What feedback are you getting from your practice tests? Do the explanations of the answers make sense to you?

Yeah, obviously, you see what I mean!! That's partly because my brain is fried from studying! Anyway, I'm reviewing the answers and they seem obvious, but when I'm reading it during the "test time, " I just don't see it. And also, during the test, I can't concentrate, I get bored with what I"m reading, etc. I don't know how to stop this!
