I thought getting in was the hard part

The hardest part is convincing yourself daily that you made the right career choice.

I’ve got my crosshairs on the metabolic syndrome and the overall healthcare system, but yeah, I think we all question at times if it’s worth it. Final stretch of gross anatomy. Ready to move on to cells, tissues, and Biochem.

Former midlevel. Loving Anatomy and most of biochem (genetics, immunoassays, etc can get annoying after a while)
I've had so many "Aha!!" moments (as predicted by the physicians I worked with prior to starting) and personally feel blessed/lucky (whatever you want to call it) to be learning this stuff.
Its a grind and yes, the amount of stuff to learn is overwhelming but again, loving it.
I might not need it in the future and I know it sounds sappy, but for me, its the joy of learning it.
