I took a non-college level class at a CC. Would AMCAS/AACOMAS include that in the GPA calculation?

I got a letter grade from it and the class was 3 credit hours as listed on my transcript. However, the CC does not award Quality Points from it:

"A class that begins with a zero, such as Math 0305 is not a college credit level class and does not count towards credit hours for graduation or transfer to another college or university."

It makes sense for transfer purposes, and I never really needed it when I got my degree. However, would AMCAS/AACOMAS not include it as well on the GPA calculation?

When I just came to the US, I took ENG 080 as my first ENG course cuz my English at that time was not good, obviously, and I still count it into AMCAS GPA since I took it during my college and it appears on my CC transcript even though none of the 4-year university accepts that

If it's not a college credit level course, then why does it have credit hours associated with it? Are there any special demarcations on your transcript?

Most colleges have Developmental Math or Developmental English courses.

I got a response from AMCAS, and here's what they said: "Any course with credit hours and a letter grade is calculated into the AMCAS GPAs, regardless of whether the credit is counted toward a degree or has been counted toward a school calculated GPA."

So it sounds like they do. :/
