I want a cool status

How do you get a custom status? (That is, something cooler than "Senior Member"?) The FAQ says you change it under Edit Profile, but I don't see that option there or anywhere else. I pm'd a moderator, but no response. People w/ fewer posts than I have a custom status, so I was wondering what their secret is. Cheers.

go to your user cp and edit profile

user cp is top right of the screen in case you can't see it...

and then it's 'custom title' or something under profile

I guess I wasn't clear before. What I meant was, I checked under Edit Profile, and there is no option for custom title.

Seriously, there's nothing like that. I even did a find for "custom." I guess the administrator has turned off this option. That sucks. Oh well, thanks for your help.

I just figured out what the problem is.

You have to be registered for 30 days before you can get a custom user text.

Try again after your 30 days are up and it should be there for you. 🙂

OK, seriously, this is wierd.

Because I had the same problem as you. I kept trying to find it, and IT JUST WASN'T THERE! Everyone kept saying it's there, but I couldn't find it.
And then, one day, I did. It was there, under 'Edit Profile', just under the birthdate, called 'Custom User Text'. So, I changed it, and never spoke of it again, cause I thought I was going nuts.
But, I swear, IT WASN'T there before!!!! (and I was already a full member)

Well, you're past 30 days, but there might be a min. post requirement. At 30 you become a member and at 100 you are a senior member. I have seen people w/ <100 using custom titles, so maybe try to get those next 6 posts and see what happens ...

nah, you don't have to do the math - just hit the 'profile' button and it does it for you. You are currently at 4.77 posts/day

so not even close to a record. lola for instance is at 7.39 posts per day over the last year! God only knows how many dra foxy used to do...

VWaltz needs a healthy dose of "Ramorayesque" comments to slow down and think before writing a post every two seconds. OC can be solved with some great sex or a nice joint. Do what needs to be done.
