I was studying SCID and got curious of the thymic shadow. I saw the radiograms on the google and I can see it is present as a sail sign
But I want to know how come this thymic shadow be produced? Thymic is anterior to the upper mediastinal part and the thymic shadow is present on the right of it..
I would appreciate if someone could give me a clear explanation.. btw it's my first year so don't go too hard..
