This place was a g-d send when I was applying... but not so much now that I got in.

Anyway we can have two sections like some of the other forums here? One for pre-OT students and another for OT students? We really do have very different concerns...

I agree. It would be helpful to move pre-OT discussions to their own forum. There are a lot of student issues I would love to discuss here!

Yeah, I asked this same question awhile back (http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=977960)

The admin essentially said that we don't post enough in this forum to necessitate it. I don't really understand the reasoning with that ; but I guess this is a free board so we have to play by their rules...

They did say we could set up some sort of thread prefix system, though. So, people asking admissions questions would select that while they're creating the thread. Or, alternatively, students already in a program could select a prefix about, for example, classes, Fieldwork, etc.

If we wanted to do something like that, I suppose we would just have to come to a consensus on which prefixes we wanted available and ask the admins to make it happen. My suggestions would be something like:

- General Admissions & OTCAS
- Program-Specific Information / Questions
- Coursework / Fieldwork
- Other OT-Related Information

So, any suggestions on what the prefixes should be? I would limit it to 3 or 4 to avoid confusion.
