IB credit usefull for pre med requirements

I received IB credit from high school and skipped first semester english, took second semester at university. Now it looks like its coming back to haunt me, as alot of schools require 1 year of english. I've noticed alot of schools accept AP credit but none mention IB credit, similar but not the same. What schools accept IB credit???

I feel like I lost my chance at alot of schools cause they require the pre-reqs to be done before application. Should have done my homework.....

There is nothing on IB credit, I've tried and i will be calling schools tomorrow, obviously. Just wanted to know if people knew anything about IB credit as they relate to pre med reqs. Maybe they were in similar shoes.

I was in Pre-IB during 9th and 10th grade (Didn't make the jump to IB since my carpool dropped out of the program and I didn't have a ride to the host school)

Anyways, the genius of all the IB kids ended up matriculating after 2 years. He graduated with his IB diploma so I'm sure the courses were collateral, at least for the school he attends (UTSW), unless he somehow finished a BS from scratch in 2 years. It might vary from school to school so your best bet is to just call in.
