I would reach out to your student loan servicer to discuss your options. They may let you do an immediate recalculation

I agree. This is a common enough situation that there is a policy in place somewhere with regards to how it is handled.

MOHELA is so inept that I suspect contacting them for this specific scenario and waiting 82 minutes is futile.
