Hi guys,

I just had a quick question. I have all of my application material ready to be sent out, except for the optometrist's letter of reference (already have the academic one), which I won't probably get till the end of October. So my question is, do you have to send in everything together as a package, or can you send in everything as it comes along?

I sent everything together, but I understand that others did not and it wasn't a problem. I would recommend sending what you have in and then sending that recommendation on when you get it. That way your application will be in process sooner and they will add the other recommendation when they receive it.

You should definitely send in everything you have done as soon as possible.

I received an interview invitation without submitting my OAT scores or my optometrist recommendation.

So I would strongly recommend it! :]

Hey when are you planning to take the OAT and can I ask you your gpa?

My GPA is 3.6, i think.. maybe slightly higher & I'm taking the OATS on November 13th with my interview on November 26th :] Hope this helps?

Does anyone know from their experience how long it took to hear from ICO about an interview after all your documents were recieved and your application was fully complete?

yeah..on the website it says 4-5 weeks. I heard from them in about 4 weeks. They seem to be pretty good at getting back to you. I heard that if you applied at the beginning of August, you heard even earlier. I applied in Sept.

Ico is really quick with the turnaround for the application. I sent mine in 3 weeks ago and got an interview email last week. Too bad not all schools are this quick..

Yeah, I applied as soon as the application became available in the beginning of August and got an interview invitation on Aug 28th. They were very quick, which is good because then you aren't kept waiting and worrying.🙂
