Just took my OAT today, and not sure if it is worth applying to ICO for this cycle(considering its late), and my chances for Waterloo next year? My scores....
Biology=400😀
Gen chem=360
Organic Chem=380
Physics=340
Quantitative Reasoning= 330
Reading Comprehension=330
A/A=360
T/S=380
and my gpa as calculated using ICO req is 3.62.

Thanks.:xf:

the assistant dean of admissions (or some other title) from ICO visited my school two weeks ago to talk about their school. I asked him how full the class was, and he said it would be impractical to apply now, saying it with much fervor. He mentioned that they had many interviews lined up for only a few spots.

Go ahead and call the school and ask them what their opinion is. That's what I did to a few other schools because I'm still applying.

Yeah... I doubt if this person from ICO discouraged apps. Their deadline isn't until Mar. 15. This reply got me nervous... so I called TODAY and they said that it is indeed harder to get an interview/acceptance now, but they still strongly encourage you to apply. So... apply away...

Thanks, I actually applied, and my docs did not get there until the March 18th. They accepted it as they were postmarked for before the 15th. They have also called me for an interview. This was on the the 28th. Excited.

Your chances at Waterloo are great. If ICO does not work out, even though it is a great institution, apply to Waterloo next year. You will save close to $100,000 in tuition alone!

great OAT scores, but your GPA may be somewhat low to UW

Yeah kind of low for UW but i've seen people get in UW with that gpa. Your OAT is good and as long as the rest of your application is good then i say you got a shot.
