ICU rotation requirement

Do "ICU" rotations without overnight call (taking the 2nd ICU month during internship as an elective) still count toward the 4 total ICU months you have to take??

I realize this is a stupid question but some of the ICU requirements seem confusing... (open ICUs potentially not counting, etc.)

I don't think the overall call has anything to do with them counting. I took 2 months this year during my internship and was told by my program that it will count for my total of four months. Regardless, ICU has been the best rotation of intern year. You should take the extra month whether it will count or not. It will only make you better.
