For those of you who have taken step 2, I was wondering how much ID was on your test.
I have always stunk at ID (can't seem to get antibiotics/organisms straight for the life of me) and I am struggling with the UW ID questions.
For very vague treatment regimens they give in secrets (this type of suggestion-----> third generation cephalosporin + amoxicillin/ampicillin OR aminoglycoside), I find that I end up not learning it at all, so what is the best way to learn this stuff? Is it just by doing questions??? I just read through the secrets ID chapter and I'm not sure I retained any of those charts that listed organisms and treatments....
