IDs

I brought my drivers license and credit card and I was okay. Other options could be your passport and or your social secruity card. There's nothing else that you are required to bring. They provide you with a writer board and markers/pens. I would bring some snakes and water which you can keep in your locker. If you have time, I would go to your testing center a day or two before your exam. I did and the proctors were able to answer and help me with any questions I had.

Were you able to make PAT grids for hole punching during the tutorial? That was my initial plan but I read a couple of people say that their proctors would not allow them.

The proctors at my testing center allowed me to write on my boards during the 15 minute break so I drew outlines for my PAT section. But like what you've heard, you're actually supposed to do this. Guess I was just lucky.

I was reading on the forum as well and during this persons test, the proctor came in during the tutorial section and told them to stop writing.

Excuse me, I meant my 15 minute tutorial at the beginning of the exam

Okay thanks for that info. I think I'm going to start practicing my PAT without first drawing my grids so I can get a better idea of timing. I wish we could write during the tutorial 🙁

They don't accept social security card, atleast not in the prometric test center I went to. I brought in 4 forms of ID, just in case one or two didn't get accepted. They didn't accept my social security card, so I ended up giving them my state ID and debit card.

Don't put yourself in a position to be turned away from taking the test because you didn't bring proper ID.

Here's what they do accept:
-Government issued ID (driver's license or non-drivers photo ID)
-Passport (not expired)
-Debit Card (not expired, must have signature on back)
-Credit card (not expired, must have signature on back)
