If I DELAY MY APPLICATION FEE????

Well you first need to ask yourself WHY?! All that means is that your application will not be looked at and will be processed at a later time. BIG NO NO...I think this because if you wait to pay for schools until September, then you will have to wait for them (who knows how long) to send you the secondary application. Once you finish (who knows how long) it will take for them to review your application and give you an interview. I honestly find no point in waiting up until September to pay for schools. Just my 2 cents. Good luck though this 2009 cycle!

Waiting to pay the fees will hurt your chances. Even if money is tight, you've gotta find a way to pay the fees now so there arent any delays in the process. Get a credit card and put the fees on that if you have to. Find a way.... dont wait til September.

the most reason I want to delay the fees, so schools dont look at my application and reject me right away bc of my low DAT, im retaking it in October and I dont know if I should send the fees now, im sure some schools will reject me even if i tell them Im retaking in October, I have to wait 3 months to take it in october, some school just want mony, wa do you guys think??
What is is your GPA and current DAT score? I would think that anything about 3.4 GPA and above is pretty safe to send in your application with the INDICATION that you are RETAKING the DAT. Just provide more info.

Pay the fees now and let the schools know that you are re-taking the DAT. I emailed each schools contact person when I applied, that also puts you in touch "personally" with each school which I believe helps.

If you delay your application fee til september, they don't look at your file to september. It is not considered complete and it just sits in a pile
