I know I am not supposed to start a thread to complain, but doesn't it seem like half of the threads here are just people whining about (gasp) an A- in Orgo? Better yet, a potential A- in Orgo? Puh-lease.

No, you can never be an auror without at least an owl in divination. Predicting the future is an important skill for those constantly battling against dark magic!

Kidding. You only really need NEWT level Potions, Transfiguration, Charms, and DADA. I think Runes are optional, though I hear the arithmancy's a bitch. Weeder classes, you know.

You should know that Aurors do not need to take divination!

You do, however, need to get NEWTs in Potions and Transfiguration so I would spend your time focusing on those.

The Edgar Cayce school of divination will never accept you with those stats. Your best plan of actions would be to take a year off and apply to an Esalen course in holotropic breathwork and log in some clinical experience at an organic health food store advising customers on herbal remedies, homeopathic cures and new age self help books. Be sure to only wear hemp and grow a neck beard and wear an ankle bracelet and some beads. Unusual piercings might help your case at the admissions committee as well.
