This is going to sound crazy, but since I'm a 3rd year I subscribed to New England Journal of Medicine.
Most issues there is an article of "clinical practice" or a similar review article. The stuff from these articles is absolutely gold for Step 1 (in hindsight). They are about 10 pages and an easy read.
So, if I had it to do again, I'd go back and see if there is a "clinical practice" NEJM article about what you are talking about in class when you are going through it during second year.
I also subscribing to NEJM and reading 1 high yield article before bed would REALLY help. It has already done amazing things for clinicals 3rd year in my knowledge.
