We had a rural medicine club in med school but it wasn't part of a national organization. Currently I find the https://www.3rnet.org/ folks most helpful for getting providers into rural positions that are a good fit. I think that national statistics on provider shortages are much more indicative of the interest in rural medicine, but they show the same thing as this forum branch.
