If using interfolio, necessary to provide e-mail? And what is the purpose of address?

I am using interfolio for all my letters, so when creating a letter of eval entry on AMCAS do I need to provide an email address? I do not want them to receive unnecessary emails from AMCAS

also, why is the address mandatory? can I just put their office?

it was my understanding that AMCAS doesn't send unnecessary emails to LoR writers. Interfolio will send an automated email when the deadline gets closer, but AMCAS doesn't do this? Don't worry about it. If your writers have agreed to write you a letter, they are agreeing to help you - emails and all. Fill in the emails.

you just need the letter ID from AMCAS to match it up with the corresponding letter on Interfolio

and I can submit AMCAS even before my letter writers upload to interfolio, correct?

correct. then when your letters are received in interfolio, you can send them over to AMCAS and assign them to individual schools.
