and have any inkling to speed read mine and give me your first impression I would pay for your time!

I'm a senior med student at BFE school of osteopathic medicine in good ole' dumpy, non-academic-town Pomona, CA. I have very limited access to psychiatrists except for the psych clerkship I have scheduled in another month.

I have tried 3 separate times to meet with our 'Psychiatry Dept. Chair' for some face time, but so far to no avail. My school is disconnected this way for most specialties...but for psych its especially true.

I'm considering paying for that essay edge thing, but really, I just want to know if it grabs you...I think I've got most of the editing down.

OPD recommends having a psych who knows you well review it, and I agree its a good idea, I'm just not in that position right now and this essay will be into ERAS long before I have an opportunity to befriend some psychiatrist.

So....if you're up for it, I simply need to know 1) does it grab you and keep you interested 2) is it appropriate?

It is one page.

Thanks,

JMC
