Nice educational programs, but their residencies are malignant. Lots of hours/lots of travel/unsafe conditions.

I'm looking at basic programs.

You might be a good liontamer, seeing as how they're carnivorous and all. I've certainly never seen a lion eat a banana. Just stay away from the chimps.

If mechanic school doesn't pan out I know some people on the Harvard HVAC admissions committee and I could put in a good word!

Nah, if not this year...
I'm going to be a trucker.

I like to drive...blare the music very loud and sing along, make new CB-radio pals, eat greasy truck-stop food. It would be a party all the time.

But I'd want to drive cross country and stuff so that I could really see the country. I'd need a traveling companion, though. Hey, we could even listen to ExamKrackers while we hauled corn syrup or hazardous chemicals or whatever. Any takers? 🙄

You know guys, I was dead set on this whole "medical" thing but I was thinking and maybe i'd be better off in HVAC. HVAC really gives me a chance to become closer to my patients since i'll be making mostly house calls and research in HVAC provides tons of opportunities to travel and be on the cutting edge of Heating, Ventillation, and Air Conditioning.

If we combined all of our talents and aspirations, we could have one heck of a circus show.

I could be the magician and mechanic (for when the equipment breaks)
Cerb could install HVAC in all of our tents.
Cat and boiler could haul all of our tents, equipment, and animals across country while listening to MCAT review materials.
VPD would be the clown.
Diesel could be the circus stripper... or some variation thereof.
DrMom... ring-leader?
We'd need people to train the circus dogs, chimps... every good circus has a "unicorn", a bearded lady, and a mind reader. Any takers?

hm. im afraid of both clowns and monkeys, so that more or less puts me out of the circus. im lucky i can handle an SUV, let alone an 18-wheeler. hm. my future is looking very bleak.

I am going to sell my car, pool my money, and move to Micronesia. There I will live out the rest of my days as a dive instructer or perhaps a teacher. Then I'll settle down with a nice local girl or wayward tourist. And as I watch the sun set over the majestic Pacific each night, I'll chuckle to myself over the poor suckers dragging their knuckles through another day in the soul crushing meatgrinder of medical school.

Yeah, that sounds pretty good about now...
 
We could just pretend that we got in. I know somebody that got into Jefferson, but they deferred his admission for 1 year. We could pretend that happened to us and that we are reapplying just to keep our options open.
