Once you get an interview what are your chances of being accepted. How many people typically interview compared to the number of spots available? Just curious. Thanks

depends on the school. typically, between 25 and 50 percent of interviewees get accepted....schools i've interviewed at have all been in the 33-50 percent range. a few may be above 50, too.

get that u.s news and world report guide to medical schools book. it contains all that data. also, some people have posted some of that information in other threads.

Totally depends on the school. One of the highest is MCW (something like 75%). Other schools have post-interview acceptance rates of ~30%.

I am looooooooooooooovin MN's 260/420 that apply right now. 😀

I'm not sure if you are male or female. But supposing you are maie, the analogy would be:

you have gone on the date. You have finished dinner and are now at the bar for an after dinner drink. This is your chance to get her tipsy, charm her and take her back to your of her place.
