Dont be alarmed if the only choice to apply once you log in is the MD/PHD program. I just called (now 8:50am) and they said they are in the process of fixing it, and the option for the regular MD program should be up by this evening.

big mistake opening it. i opened the browser just to see what the questions were like, and now their system thinks im in the process of completing their MD/PHD application. they have this application progress page, and it wont let me withdraw "my secondary"!!! I called them back, and I guess Ill have to wait and see what happens.

theyve updated. all good.

the MD secondary app is up...
I was briefly looking at it, and the only essay i see is what will you be doing during the 2007-08 school year if you've already completed Ugrad.

Other than that, i think you're just filling out demographic info and confirming prereqs. (i think)

BTW...under that one section that asks for all this background info (like ethnicity, religion preference, etc.), there's a field that says "Confidentiality", with the answer choices being YES, NO, No Response

Can someone clarify what each choice means? (ie. are they asking if I waive confidentiality, in which case this info. would be made available to the adcom?)

thx

ah. i knew there would be a time and place to play the Jew card. 👍

I don't know about that comment 😕

but in any case...any help re: my question?

thx

confidentiality question: what is it asking?

this question is asking if students want to keep this background information confidential or not. The info is used for school statistic purposes as well as for other statistical info.

if you answer YES, then this info is kept confidential (this would be my understanding since the question just says "Confidentiality: YES, NO, No Response"

NO of course means schools are allowed to release this info.

does the answer to this question have a possibility of affecting chances for admission?
