If you make changes on AMCAS after submitting, do you lose your place in line?

Does making a change in your application make put you in the back of the line for verification? I added more schools since submitting and plan to add more schools later, but am wondering if I will have to start the six week wait again.

Adding schools will not delay your application. This is good since I've added quite a few schools.

Thanks for letting me know. I was afraid that I might get pushed to the end of the line because when I resubmitted, it said my application was on hold for supporting documents.

Have you mailed in your transcripts? That might be why it's on hold.

All my transcripts are in, and my status before adding more schools was "in line for verification." I just checked and I'm in line again. I hope it's just a computer error that caused me to be on hold, because I'd hate to get in the verification process and have to start over again.

Just remember that when you add schools you need to resubmitt and verify and that you aren't finished till they have a way of getting money from you.
