If you reapply to a medical school, after they gave you an interview last cycle, do they interview you a second time if they are considering you again?

please note this potential occurrence:

what if the school gains better applicants, higher mcat scores and what not. interviews handed out are limited..

in essence, keep pushing to improve on your app, and make sure it is better in any way than the previous one. they already gave you an interview, so they like what you have, relative to the previous pool of applicants you were mixed in.
