If you run out of time and have to guess, what is your letter of choice?

i went with D on the actual...but i have found on practice tests that B is much better than C in general

i went with b's for my blanks on PS.
Please G$d make my PS at least an 8 so i don't ever ever have to look at vectors or pendulums again. please

The doc that I work with told me that statistically, B is most used as the correct answer choice. That usually worked for me during practice tests, so I went with it. But who knows....

That doesn't make any sense. Statistically, if you have a lot of questions, then each should appear 25% of the time. Now this doesn't happen in most cases, but statistically B cannot appear the most - it should be random.

You're not getting the point. What he means is that AAMC uses B as the correct answer choice far more than A, C, or D. Is it true? I don't know, but it worked for me on Kaplan and AAMC practice tests.

I just pick a different letter for each question. What is the logic behind using only one letter to guess for the questions you do not get to?

Yes I understood the first time, but I am saying it is not a statistical thing, it might be coincidence. Also, you should note, AAMC does not decide which letter they will pick as correct, there are ways to randomly assign the correct answer for each question, then organize the answer choices around that.

sigh, guess im the only wierdo who guessed randomly, like B A C D A... cause that order brought balance to the answer sheet... and everything in life is balance.

i think i should have gone with B's though... oh well... sadly I'll be doing that next time 🙁

while i did not aim for a balanced looking answer sheet, i picked a letter randomly too. don't worry, you're never the only weirdo.

I think that is a little weird. I think if you are completely guessing (as in if you were to try you have a 0% chance of getting it correct) you should pick one letter and select that for everything. However, this is for ideal conditions and I'm sure hunches play a role too, so it may not be as weird as you think, but still a little.

Lol! Good one.

Are you pathan?

All D's! I always think that it is interesting that hardly anyone ever picks A's or D's for their letter of the day.
