So my application to a school is on hold until I retake the DAT w/ new scores. However, here's the dilemma...I can't take it until september 3rd and my school starts august 23rd and i'm taking 18 semester credits. So basically if I can't retake the DAT will the school just down right reject me?

Maybe. You would just have to tell them to only consider your old scores and pray they are good enough NOT to get a rejection.
