Hey guys,

Neurotic premed currently in the application process here who has a question...when schools send out II, do they do it linearly by who was complete first? I ask because I'm confused whether or not I'm getting silently rejected when people who were complete after me are receiving II's when I'm not or do they send out II with no correlation to our complete date.

Thanks a lot for anyone who has any idea.

No, it's not done in chronological order. They pretty much do whatever the hell they want to.

Yes and no.

They send out invites to the people they most want to attend their school first, then they'll send out invites to those who they believe would be a good fit, but aren't necessarily the super-stars. The super-stars, if you will. However, they generally look at applications in roughly the order in which they're received and thus those applying later in the cycle are less likely to get an interview.
