Illinois GRE Analytical Writing Portion

Illinois takes the percentiles of all three of your scores, and that's what they use. So yes, the analytical portion is used. I think that the average composite GRE is around 60% though, so you might still be okay.

A lot of people get a 4.5 in that, I think... I wouldn't worry about it *too* much. I doubt it will make or break you.

Take it again if you're TOO worried, but you sound like you're in a good place to me, 4.5 or not. 🙂
