So I was not initially planning on applying to osteopathic schools but I started filling out my info for AACOMAS anyway. Today I was telling someone I was doing both and while the words were coming out of my mouth I realized I have no idea how you say AACOMAS! I just stuttered and said, uh the osteopathic one! Do you say both As? Or like Ah ko maz?? Haha!!

I say "Ayy COM as" and no one has corrected me yet, so I'm going to assume one of those As is silent.

More likely people either A) don't care enough to correct you or B) think you're saying "Ay-Ay-Com-A$$" anyway haha

I pronounce it as ah comb es. Sounds the most reasonable to me. The stress would be on comb.
 
I would have never guessed that people actually try to pronounce it as a word.
 
Pointless thread. Ppl open this to read something juicy, and all you have to say is you don't know how to pronounce AACOMAS correctly? -__-
