So... the floor of the ventricle has a median eminence which consist of facial colliculus.
The image below says,
the facial colliculus overlies the nucleus of Abducent n... so does that mean the facial colliculus is on top of nucleus i.e the nucleus of Abducent n. is underneath the facial colliculus?

Vestibular area overlies vestibular nuclei ... so does that mean that the vestibular nuclei is underneath the Vestibular area??

Look what just popped up on a Neurosurgery Oral Board Review website:

A 25-year-old man presents with a new onset of right facial droop associated with horizontal diplopia. MRI of the brain shows a brainstem hyperintensity on T2 and FLAIR images (see figure). What anatomical structure is affected by this lesion causing the diplopia?
