I'm still waiting to hear back for interviews from most of my schools and I know dec 1st decision date is around the corner. So what does this mean? Are schools still doing interview invites? Will I have lesser chance of getting in with post- December interview? Please help. I'm freaking out over here

Don't freak out! There is definitely still hope. It sounds like you've at at least one pre-december interview if not more from your post so thats great! Hopefully you'll get some acceptances on the 1st. In regards to your other schools, tons of schools continue to interview after post december!! It may be slightly more difficult to get accepted (depending on how many people have declined acceptance offers at the schools you applied to) but there is still hope nonetheless!

I think by "waiting to hear back for interviews" he meant he hasn't received an interview yet. Yes schools still interview post december and during december. Some people get accepted just a few days before the semester gets started. Good luck.
