hey diver, whys KCUMB your top choice.. right now theyre m y top as well, i got an interview there on the 25th of sept.. just booked my flight. I love the fact that 4th yrs can do their rotations closer to home.. thats awesome for me.. plus that new research building is pretty sweet

Congrats! As we were told during our orientation, you're over the hump. Getting in is the hard part, once you're in, you're virtually set. 😉 Provided that you work hard, etc. That seems to be true so far; they "aren't out to get us" or trick us, like some profs are in undergrad. They truly want us to absorb the information as opposed to just pass the courses. And the profs are very helpful, if you have any questions they welcome an email or office visit. I honestly feel like it would take effort to fail out; you'd have to sleep through all the lectures and never open a book at home.

So congrats again for making it over that hump! 👍

Thanks everybody ! Im still in shock! LOL, I hear the news of the WVSOM decision on Tuesday, LOL Im still nervous. But to answer Ilikescience's question, I interviewed at Touro-NV on Aug. 28th. A tuesday. 👍

I also interviewed 8/28. We must have been in the same interview group. I still haven't heard from Touro-NV yet. I'm getting real nervous. I can't find Roger's cell. Can you please PM that to me whenever you get a chance?

And once again, congrats. Like everyone said, I'll bet you do make a great doctor, cause you seem to be meant for it. Best of luck with more acceptances to come.😀

I was so excited to see your post-- I am so glad that you have devised your ways, and that the Lord is guiding your footsteps. I know you were praying for your acceptance, and I am so glad your prayers were answered. You keep believing what was mentioned in Jeremiah that despite all of the ups and downs that come with medical school, you keep your heart true, your mind focused, and know He has fabulous plans for your life. I just got my acceptance at WVSOM and found out today on their website! What an amazing feeling to know for sure that you are on the road to becoming an osteopathic physician. I think I"m going to end up crying my eyes out tonight because the road to getting there has been quite the battle, but it was all honestly worth it! Good luck to you all in your applications and interviews! If this is something you sincerely want, stay focused, have faith, and never give up! 🙂
