Hey all!
I'm kind of stuck at the moment. I graduated last May with a degree in Biology. I didn't do too well my first two years due to some medical issues and lack of focus. However, my last two years I did pretty well. I took some harder classes because I had planned to minor in Chemistry but ultimately did not.
I graduated with a cGPA of 3.16 and have a science GPA of 3.08.
All my prerequisite classes are a B or above except, my freshman year I received C+ in both semesters of General Chemistry and received a B- in my second semester of A and P.
I'm in need of some advice or guidance on what I should do. Should I try my chances and apply this cycle, without retaking those classes and see what happens, or should I try to retake those classes and apply?
I feel like if I don't get in next cycle, I'll be in the same position I am now, except cramming in classes while working a full time job.
I have roughly 3000 hours as a outpatient Orthopedic aide, around 60 hours acute care and I'm beginning to shadow a PT in a school district next week.
I'm anticipating on taking the GRE at the end of April.
Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for your time!
