Hi, I'm new. I just found this site. It's great. Well, I'm in at UNE. I found out on Monday. I called and was given the news over the phone. I interviewed this past Saturday.

UNE is the school for me. It's crazy, but I only applied to UNE. I'm from Maine and I knew that I wanted to go there. So, it worked out for me.

I'm looking forward to joining others at UNE next year.

Wow, I've never heard of someone only applying to one school. You must have connections or friends or friend at the psychic friends network.

Let me clarify, I only applied to UNE, but I did submit my amcas application, but I never filled out any secondaries. So, I'm verified, but I haven't sent out any secondaries.

I only applied to one DO school and I've only filled out one secondary and that was UNE.

My thought was that if I could interview early enough at UNE, I could save myself the money applying to other schools. I only wanted UNE. If they rejected me, I was going to fill out my secondaries to other schools in New England like Tufts and places like that.

Well, I guess I don't have to now. I now have this year to relax. I'm going to enjoy it.

I was told over the phone that I'm in. I haven't recieved the letter yet. I'm guessing that I"ll get it tomorrow, maybe Saturday.

So, when do we have to have the $1,500 in by? I had thought it was like $500 dollars to hold a seat. Wow, $1,500 is heavy.

From what I understand we have to send in $500 by Dec. 15. And then another $1000 within thirty days after they receive the first check. It's a lot of money for us poor college kids, but it will be worth it in the end. I can spend that much money to go to a school where I can see the ocean from the library and run down and fish from the beach during lunch breaks.

Okay, I just got the letter and I have 30 days to give them 500 dollars and 60 days for the remaining 1000. So, that's expensive, but at least it's spaced out a bit. I wonder why it's so expensive. Many students, and I'm included in the bunch, can't afford this much now. I'm planning to take out loans for medical school. I think 100 bucks would be sufficient. Well, I'll come up with a way to pay for it.
