of those of you that can still show up to class in shorts.. or don't need to wear 5 layers of clothes under a thick down jacket (speaking of which, i need to buy one.. haha)... boston is supposed to see snow tomorrow. nothing major, but being that i have never lived in snow before, i'm getting nervous and scared....🙁

High of 90 here today. I hate it. I prefer cold weather.
We've been having record heat here in AZ...100+ in OCTOBER. We've been running that high since the middle of May and we're ready for some cooler weather. I'd like to turn off my AC sometime this year!
I'm sick of these triple digit temps!

Los Angeles had 104 yesterday, and today is similarly hot. We recently had some fires in the mountain areas... the smog is extremely thick. GIVE ME SNOW ANYDAY!! And I noticed that you said that you have never seen snow... I saw snow for the first time last November in Chicago... it is beautiful. Not nearly as cold as I thought. So don't worry. Enjoy!
triple digits!! wow... i remember when i first got to boston back in aug it was near 100 with TONS of humidity. i seriously couldn't sleep the first night because i didn't have a fan or anything (plus i live on the 4th floor).. i was fanning myself with a piece of cardboard!!
i've seen snow before.. i've been to tahoe many times to go boarding, however, that's TOTALLY different. i'll have to put up with sliding on black ice and treking in it for the next like 5 months!! that's nothing compared to the day trips up to tahoe...eek.
at least this cold weather will keep me in doors so i can at least attempt to study...

I'd take hot weather over cold weather anyday! LA 3-digit-temps aren't that bad (I think) b/c the humidity is low. Well, I'll be in LA tomorrow, and I sure will enjoy the weather while I'm there. =)

Just a thought...an oven is a "dry heat," but I wouldn't want to be in there either. True, humidity makes it worse. But when you're burning your hands on the steering wheel of your car and hiking at 8 AM is still unbareably hot it's time to start thinking enough is enough.

It's really nice right now in Florida. The humidity is down to 61% and the temperature is in the mid 80's during the day and the high 60's at night. We are going to get some cooler weather this weekend. It's supposed to drop about 10 degrees. This is typical for fall weather. In the summer, it never gets to 100 and in the winter we only get a handful of days where it goes below freezing at night.

😡 ...actually, I hate Vegas these days. I've associated the city with exams and the everyday stresses of school. I never thought that going back to SoCal would become a welcome relief.
The air is thick with smoke from the fires blowing into town. I can usually see the light from Luxor from my place, but the smoke has obscured it. I'm leaving my windows closed tonight because the air smells like the bottom of an ashtray.
